Harold Torrence

Harold Torrence is a Professor in the UCLA Department of Linguistics, which he joined in 2015. His research focuses on the comparative syntax and morphology of African languages, notably Wolof, and he has run NSF-funded fieldwork training projects documenting endangered Ghana-Togo Mountain languages such as Avatime and Logba.
