Jacqueline Brixey

Jacqueline Brixey is an Assistant Professor at the Information School and Language Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she works on human-computer interaction, AI, and Indigenous language technology. A citizen of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, she earned her PhD in Computer Science at the University of Southern California and has built foundational tools for the Choctaw language, including a corpus, a speech recognizer, and a bilingual chatbot.
