Privacy
The ability to control who can access information about a person or community, and for what purpose. It overlaps with data sovereignty and consent but is not identical: recordings, transcripts, and archival materials often contain personal details, names, or culturally restricted knowledge, and sending them to a cloud AI service can expose them in ways that are hard to undo. Privacy is part of why "appropriate access" is rarely all-or-nothing (see Mukurtu CMS and Putting Data Online).
