Agreement to how language data is collected and used. In the Indigenous language revitalization space, consent should not be a one-time signature. Communities may want ongoing, revocable, and purpose-specific say over how materials are used, especially as AI makes it easy to repurpose data in ways no one anticipated at the time of collection.
