Pamela Munro is Distinguished Research Professor Emerita of Linguistics at UCLA. Her research covers the grammars of Indigenous languages of the Americas, including Tlacolula Valley Zapotec and Gabrielino/Tongva, for which she has produced dictionaries and revitalization materials. She also serves on the Tongva Language Committee, working alongside community members to document and revitalize the language.
